Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian and TV personality popular as the anchor for The Talk, a popular talk show broadcast on daytime television. Born in Arkansas she was raised in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl has a very troubled background. Sheryl spent most of her life taking care of her sister Frankie with polio. While she was growing older, there were many arguments with her mom. Sheryl states that one time her mom cut her father due to his proximity. Sheryl joined up the military right after her graduation from the college. However, her interests lay in comedy. In 1989, she became the first woman to reach the top in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. She launched her TV career in 1992 being a regular performer on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She hosted the show in 2000. The show Oh Drama! The show has also featured her as a host on The Talk since 2011. Also, she appears in fictional roles in popular shows such as Bulworth and Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
